If you want to take control of your money, the first thing you need to do is figure out where it’s going! Take a couple of minutes to sit down and record everything you’re spent money on over the last 7 days.

Your net worth is your assets minus your liabilities, or whatever you have that’s of value (savings, investments, vehicles, etc.) minus your debts.
This can be a little intimidating to calculate at first, but it will give you a clear picture of your finances.
